Winterson Sports, founded in 2011 by Marielle Winterson, allows a dog-handler to fully enjoy the outdoors with her dog regardless of the activity.

Who is Marielle Winterson?

Marielle Winterson started her business project first and foremost to meet a personal need. A jogger and dog enthusiast herself, she discovered, several years ago, the canicross, a discipline that consists of running, connected to her dog by means of a belt and a harness, to promote a coordinated physical effort.

As she often travelled long distances, she found that the belts available on the market were not optimal because she often had to wear more than one at a time to keep everything within reach (water and personal belongings).

From seamstress to entrepreneur....

A seamstress by trade for 20 years, Marielle took advantage of maternity leave to start creating and making her own canicross belt. Her family and friends loved the product so much that she received requests to make more!

Development of the company....

One thing led to another, the Nordic Runner's shop became interested in Marielle Winterson's belts and it was from that moment that several other shops and partners followed in the adventure. Since then, Marielle has developed several other belt models that all meet different needs. She is constantly looking to innovate in the creation of new products and helps to promote the harness sports that she believes are for all people who want to move with their dogs. Several new projects are being created, such as the mini and urban product range!

Winterson Sports products allow freedom of movement, complicity and well-being for the dog and yourself!
