The front of this harness is padded from the neck to the chest under the dog. The cut is angled to better match the shape of the rib cage. This model is known to stay securely on the chest and not slip to the side.
Compared to the traditional sled dog harness (commonly called X-Back), the design of this model is distinguished by 3 elements:
- The diagonal orientation of the sling (rather than horizontal). Since in canicross the point of attachment to the human is located higher than the dog's back, this makes it possible to better transmit the traction force.
- The reflective strips are applied to the harness to give the dog maximum visibility.
- Made entirely of sturdy nylon. This type of padding is lightweight, low-abrasive, non-freezing and waterproof, making the harness more comfortable for the dog and easier to maintain.
Presence of a wide and padded piece at chest level and under the chest, for better support during exercise and more protection.
It is available in sizes XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, in regular or extended sizes. It is also available with a slimmer chest protector for dogs with a narrower chest.
