The Winterson Sports company founded in 2011 by Marielle Winterson, allows a dog handler to fully enjoy the outdoors with their dogs, regardless of the activity.

Who is Marielle Winterson?

Marielle Winterson started her business project first primarily to meet a personal need. A jogger and dog enthusiast herself, she discovered canicross several years ago, a discipline that involves running, while being connected to your dog by means of a belt and harness.

As she often traveled long distances, she found that the belts available on the market were not optimal as she frequently had to wear more than one at a time to have everything within reach water and personal belongings.

From seamstress to entrepreneur...

A seamstress by trade for 20 years, Marielle took advantage of maternity leave to start creating and making her own canicross belt. Her friends and family loved the product so much that she began receiving requests to make more!

Business development...

Little by little, the Coureur Nordique boutique became interested in Marielle Winterson's belts and from that moment on, several other boutiques and partners joined the adventure. Since then, Marielle has developed several other belt models to meet different needs. She is constantly seeking to innovate in the creation of new products and helps to promote harness sports, which, according to her, are aimed at anyone people who want to move with their dog. Several new projects are in the works, such as the mini and urban product ranges!

Winterson Sports products allow freedom of movement, complicity and well-being for the dog and it's owner!
